Our take. They offer a mission critical colocation and are also SSAE 16 audited annually. They offer flexible colocation options and have a good variety of carriers in their 2 facilities. They do not offer cloud or managed services and have chosen to focus on colocation.

CoreSite builds mission critical facilities which they offer for very competitive rates with good interconnectivity and many certifications.
Our take. They excel at colocation and interconnectivity. Even with their robust build costs they don't appear to charge a premium for their space. CoreSite doesn't offer managed services directly.

Digital Realty operates mission critical facilities globally. Their acquisition of Telx expanded their already large footprint. In Miami, they have 3 facilities which gives you plenty of choice.
Our take. You get much value for your IT spend with DRT. They offer flexibility in their power density which allows firms to save some money if they don't need high density computing environments. They feature excellent interconnection options and they have extremely robust power, network and support.

Equinix has 5 locations in Miami. Equinix is most known for its amazing carrier connections and peering inside the data center. Businesses that require massive interconnections between various networks rely on Equinix to give them solid access. Major public cloud providers also are available through direction connections.
Our take. You are buying some of the best interconnected and mission critical colocation on the planet. They will certainly not be the cheapest of prices but you will get a solid value. No client, partner or investor can say you took the lesser alternative when it comes to colocation here.

ViaWest has recently merged with Peak10 after acquiring iNetU. They offer colocation, HIPAA compliant cloud and a full suite of managed services.
Our Take: The ViaWest product suite is broad but with solid execution due to some strategic acquisitions. ViaWest has long held excellent datacenter properties in top markets. Peak10 offered robust facilities in smaller US markets while iNetU offered mission critical public and private cloud services with a specialization around HIPAA compliance.

QTS is known for their mission critical and large facilities. They offer colocation and a full suite of managed services that include cloud, disaster recover and traditional managed hosting services.
Our Take: We've worked with QTS in the past and the clients we've helped choose QTS don't regret it. Having the full suite of services also means that you can get out of the self managing business and have someone else completely take over their environment. Their past acquisition of Carpathia hosting gave them even more management capabilities than before.
